St Andrews is located in Fife on Scotland's east coast. Parking:

On-street parking in the centre of St Andrews: 2-hour parking is available on nearly all of St Andrews’ main streets. In the very centre, this parking is metered and coins are required to pay by the hour. On-street parking in these areas is free overnight and on Sundays.

Free bay parking: The largest free car park is just off the Petheram Bridge roundabout, on the way into St Andrews from the West. Cars can be parked here for the whole day without charge.

Pay & Display bay parking: Argyle Street car park or Bruce Embankment car park. Cheaper than on-street parking and ideal for stays of longer than two hours.
