As part of LAIDLAW LIVE, vocal students from the University of St Andrews perform a varied repertoire of songs as part of the Music Society's Lunchtime Concert Series raising money for Music in Hospitals and Care Scotland. 

Two-time Scottish Jazz Award-winning vocalist, swing violinist, composer/arranger and BBC ‘Jazz Nights’ broadcaster, Fife-born Seonaid Aitken presents her highly acclaimed tribute to the ‘First Lady of Song’

Through collaboration, cultures will merge, blending voice, piano, and tabla, with elements of improvisation and conversation. An innovative soundscape will be created live, as the musicians explore a woman’s journey through dusk.

As COP-26 comes to Glasgow this autumn, Dunedin Consort explore music’s relationship with nature and look at how the arts can both reflect and inspire environmental concerns in this choral programme. 

As part of LAIDLAW LIVE, St Salvator's Chapel Choir perform a varied programme including music by Bruckner and Vaughan-Williams in this lunchtime concert from the McPherson Recital Room, reuniting with their singing colleagues for the first in 18 months. 

Grammy Award-winning mezzo-soprano, and newly appointed Honorary Professor of Singing at the University of St Andrews, Lucy Schaufer takes vocal students on an afternoon of musical discovery and learning. 

Our accredited Vocal Health Leader, will take choral singers through a vocal refresh and ensure, after months of singing on Zoom, that you are refreshed and in good vocal health ahead of a winter of concerts. 

Saturday evening sees celebrated Scottish Gael Mary Ann Kennedy complete an epic journey of musical discovery with a stunning concert at Laidlaw Music Centre.

Following the release of their debut album of the same time, Andrew McTaggart and Timothy Dean, present a journey of English Song including Finzi’s Earth and Air and Rain. 

In partnership with St Andrews Loches Alliance, Cafe Cabaret with Christine Bovill will transport you back to a Parisian scented twilight world; a demi-monde of heroes, outcasts, cynics, and bruised romantics. "The Golden Age of French Song" 

In person, from St Salvator's Chapel, St Andrews, the annual Festival Choral Evensong is a celebration of music and faith.
